Ces vers qui suivent sont tirés du panégyrique ” LA QUÊTE DU BONHEUR DES DEUX MONDES…”
Ils ont été écrits par Cheikh Ahmadou BAMBA en 1887, année de la création de la Sainte Touba.
Tous les vœux qu’Il a formulés pour cette ville figurent dans ce poème et IL a même affirme de vive voix que c’est exactement comme IL l’a consigné dans l’œuvre qu’ALLAH a acceptée de Lui.
Cette ville est le patrimoine de toute la Oumma musulmane.
Ô TOI NOTRE MAÎTRE, TOI LE GARDIEN-VIGILENT, TOI QUI VEILLE SUR LES SEPT CIEUX ET CE QU’ILS ENVELOPPENT, SUR LES SEPTS TERRES ET LEURS CONTENUS, TENANT AUSSI LE COURS DE LEURS ÉVÈNEMENTS SOUS TA POIGNE, TOI QUI DOMINE TOUTES LES CRÉATURES EN SUJÈTION.
À TOI JE CONFIE LES SOINS DE MA PROPRE GARDE ET DE LA PRISE EN CHARGE DE MA RELIGION, DE MES SIENS, DE MES FILS ET DE MA DEMEURE, LA CITÉ BÉNITE DE TOUBA ET CE, À JAMAIS.
OH TOI MON SEIGNEUR, ASSIMILE MA DEMEURE, LA CITE BÉNITE DE TOUBA À SON NOM PAR LA GRÂCE DE L’ENVOYÉ (PAIX ET BÉNÉDICTION SUR LUI).
FAIT DE MA DEMEURE LA CITÉ BÉNITE DE TOUBA, LE PARADIS DU FIDÈLE QUI S’EST CONFIÉ POUR LA SIMPLE FACE D’ALLAH ET EST ENGAGÉ DANS LA QUÊTE DE L’ABSOLU.
QU’ELLE SOIT AUSSI UN REMPART QUI ENTRAVE ET DÉTOURNE LE REBELLE QUI TENTE DE PROFANER LA DÉCENCE DE L’ISLAM OU LA DÉFÉRENCE DE CETTE ENCEINTE.
FAIT DE MA DEMEURE LA CITÉ BÉNITE DE TOUBA, UN LIEU QUI ACCORDE LE BÉNÉFICE CHARISMATIQUE DU PÈLERINAGE À CELUI QUI A LE VOEU DE L’ACCOMPLIR, MAIS EST INDIGENT ET INCAPABLE D’ALLER À LA MECQUE.
FAIT DE MA DEMEURE LA CITÉ BÉNITE DE TOUBA, AU JOUR ULTIME DU JUGEMENT, L’UNIQUE PREUVE DE L’ISLAM À L’ENDROIT DE CELUI QUI CONTREVIENT, OU VIOLE, OU REFUSE LES PRESCRIPTIONS DIVINES OU LES PROHIBITIONS D’ALLAH DANS L’ISLAM.
FAIT DE MA DEMEURE LA CITE BÉNITE DE TOUBA, LA CITADELLE DE PRÉDILECTION D’ALLAH ET DU PROPHÈTE (PRIÈRE ET BÉNÉDICTION SUR LUI) ICI SUR NOTRE TERRE, LÀ OU NOUS VIVONS.

FAIT DE MA DEMEURE LA CITÉ BÉNITE DE TOUBA, UN LIEU OÙ L’ON SORT DES TÉNÈBRES POUR ENTRER DANS LA LUMIÈRE, PROTÈGE CETTE CITÉ DU DISGRÂCIÉQUI A PORTÉ PRÉJUDICE À ALLAH OU À SON PROCHAIN.
PRÉSERVE MA DEMEURE LA CITÉ BÉNITE DE TOUBA, DES CRAPULEUX ET DE LEURS MACHINATIONS. FAVORISE LES HABITANTS DE TOUBA D’UN BIENFAIT EN EAU ABONDANTE, RUISSELANTE ET QUI COURT À L’INSTAR D’UN RUISSEAU.

FAIS AFFLUER TOUT CE QUI EST BIEN-ÊTRE ET BIENFAIT DU PATRIMOINE DES SIX CÔTÉS DE LA PLANÈTE VERS MA DEMEURE DE LA CITÉ BÉNITE DE TOUBA.

FAIT DE NOTRE ENCEINTE, LA CITÉ BÉNITE DE TOUBA, UNE TERRE DE CONFIANCE ET DE FRANCHISE DANS LAQUELLE TOUT CE QUI Y EST INTEGRÉ D’AGRÉABLE À ALLAH SOIT DANS LA LIBERTÉ, L’IMMUNITÉ ET LA SÉCURITÉ.
DONNE-MOI L’ASSURANCE DE TA SAUVEGARDE ET DE TA GARANTIE À MA DEMEURE, LA CITÉ BÉNITÉ DE TOUBA.

Ô You our Teacher, You-Vigilant Guard, You that watch on the seven heavens and what they envelop, on the seven lands and their content, as taking the course of their events in your handle, which leads all creatures into subjects.
To you I assigned the care of my own custody and support of my religion, my belongings, my sons and my residence, the blessed city of Touba and it is forever.
Oh my Lord You treat my abode, the blessed city of Touba to His name, The Messenger (Peace be upon Him) By Thy Grace.
Make my abode, the blessed city of Touba, The Paradise of the faithful which was assigned to the simple side of Allah and is engaged in the quest of The Absolute. Whether as an obstacle to rampart the rebel hijacking attempt to lay the decency of Islam or the speaker of the difference.
Make my abode, the blessed city of Touba, a place that gives the charismatic benefits of pilgrimage to those that wish to accomplish but is indigent and unable to go to Mecca.
Make my abode the blessed city of Touba, In the last day ( Judgement Day), the only evidence of Islam where it belongs to those who breach or refuse the divine requirements or prohibitions of Allah in Islam
Make my abode the blessed city of Touba the preferred citadel of Allah and the Prophet (May be peace be upon Him) here on earth, where we dwell.
Make my abode, the blessed city of Touba, the bastion of obedience to Allah and respect for the custom of sending prayers (Prayers and blessings be on Him) forever and not the pit of innovations blameworthy.

Make flow all that is welfare and benefits of heritage from the six sides of the planet towards my domicile, the blessed city of Touba. Immunize the reputation of my dwelling from all impuity in this world and in the other.
Ô The Supreme King ! Protect me from the inside and outside, me and my abode, the blessed city of Touba, and everything that is under my supervision.
